Man Killed in Hacienda Heights Motorcycle Accident on 60 Freeway

 
HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA (May 24, 2022) — A man died in a motorcycle crash on the 60 Freeway near 7th Avenue on Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle accident happened around 12:05 a.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, a man operating a motorcycle crashed into a vehicle on the westbound side of the freeway.
 
As a result, authorities had to close the No. 1, 2 and 3 westbound lanes and the 7th Avenue on-ramp to the eastbound freeway.
 
Upon arriving, paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased on arrival, despite pulling efforts to save him.
 
At this time, an explanation for the crash and the victim’s name have yet to be confirmed. Although, if witnesses have more information on this accident, please call the CHP.
