Man Killed in Van Nuys Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Sepulveda Boulevard

 
VAN NUYS, CA (February 28, 2022) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Sepulveda Boulevard near Victory Boulevard on Sunday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the hit-and-run crash occurred around 4:15 a.m.
 
A man about 50 years old reportedly tried crossing outside of a marked crosswalk on Sepulveda Boulevard. Subsequently, an oncoming driver struck him on the road. Soon after, the driver of what officers believe was a Jeep Wrangler stopped momentarily before leaving.
 
Upon arriving, First Responders pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.
