Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Raitt Street in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (June 13, 2022) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Raitt Street and St. Anne Place on May 18.
 
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 11:02 p.m.
 
Upon responding to reports of a man lying in the roadway with major trauma, Orange County Fire Authority Personnel tried to perform life-saving measures. However, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
Inferring from evidence at the scene, police believe that a driver in an unknown make and model struck the victim who had either been walking or jogging on the road.
