Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Main Street in Watsonville
WATSONVILLE, CA (May 9, 2022) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Main Street near Green Valley Road on Thursday.
According to Watsonville Police, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 10:30 p.m. For unknown own reasons, a driver in a possible white four-door sedan struck a 24-year-old man in the 1900 block of Main Street.
Shortly after, emergency personnel reached the scene and rushed the victim to a trauma center where he died from his injuries.
The suspect involved in this incident reportedly left the scene toward Highway 1, leaving investigators on a search for this person’s whereabouts.
