Man Killed in Santa Clara Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Alum Rock Avenue

 
SANTA CLARA, CA (February 3, 2023) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Alum Rock Avenue near Kirk Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 46-year-old San Jose man was found Wednesday morning. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck the pedestrian but fled the scene shortly thereafter.
 
Arriving authorities found the body off the right shoulder of the road partially shrouded in some bushes. Telling from injuries and debris at the scene, detectives believe that the man was hit by a car.
