Man Killed in Road Accident on North Avenue near De Wolf Avenue
SANGER, CA (July 15, 2021) — A man died after a two-vehicle crash on North Avenue in Fresno County on the morning of Wednesday, July 14.
Authorities said that a 27-year-old man drove a Nissan Sentra on De Wolf Avenue. Then he failed to yield at a stop sign.
A Honda Accord driving on North Avenue then struck the Sentra when it went into the intersection.
The crash caused both cars to slide into a nearby almond orchard.
Medics airlifted him to Community Regional Medical Center, where he died. The name and city of residence of the deceased are not immediately released.
Authorities said the driver of the Sentra did not wear a seatbelt when the incident happened.
Officials continue to investigate the crash.
