Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 and Bardsley Avenue

 
TULARE, CA (February 10, 2022) — A man suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian crash on Highway 99 in Tulare on Tuesday, February 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place near Highway 99 and Bardsley Avenue at around 6:00 p.m.
 
Officers said a driver entered the highway from Bardsley Avenue. Under unclear circumstances, the pedestrian appeared in front of his car.
 
Medics pronounced the 49-year-old man dead at the scene.
 
Officers said drugs or alcohol were not factors in the incident and there were no arrests made.
