Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash on 110 Freeway near Adams Boulevard

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 22, 2022) — A man died following a pedestrian accident on the 110 Freeway on Wednesday, April 20.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound car hit a male pedestrian near Adams Boulevard at about 1:45 a.m.
 
Medics pronounced him dead at the scene, CHP said. His identity was not available pending notification of his family. Officials only described him as a man in his 30s.
 
The driver of the vehicle – a 2003 Suzuki Aerio – had minor cuts to his left hand. He exited the freeway and reported the incident to authorities, officials said.
 
It was not immediately clear why the man walked on the freeway.
 
The collision backed up the northbound lanes of the freeway early Wednesday morning but has since reopened.
