Rider Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Crash on 45th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 15, 2021) — A Sacramento man died in a motorcycle accident on 45th Avenue just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, they received reports of the crash near 45th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
 
First responders arrived at the area and pronounced the rider dead at the scene. Crash investigators determined that the driver moved north on MLK Jr. Boulevard on a Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle. Then for undetermined reasons, he left the roadway to the right. After that, he went over a concrete curb and collided with a power pole.
 
The impact ejected the rider and threw him into a different power pole, which resulted in fatal injuries. Investigators only described the victim as a 32-year-old Sacramento man.
 
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the incident. The identity of the victim was not yet available pending notification of loved ones.
