Hit-and-Run on San Gabriel Boulevard in Rosemead Leaves Man with Life-Threatening Injuries

 
ROSEMEAD, CA (November 10, 2021) – A man suffered critical injuries after a hit-and-run crash on San Gabriel Boulevard in Rosemead Monday morning.
 
The crash happened just before 10:40 a.m. on November 8, just south of Garvey Avenue near Zapopan Park. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the 61-year-old man from Rosemead was walking in the area when a sedan struck him.
 
The driver did not stop after the crash, leaving the victim with life-threatening injuries.
 
Authorities later located the vehicle, a black 2009 Nissan Altima with a white bumper, but the driver was not found.
 
Police are still investigating the crash. They asked anyone with information on the suspect to contact LASD Detective Bravo at 626-292-3389.
