VISTA, CA (February 17, 2022) – A man is now in critical condition following a motorcycle accident in the 1400 block of North Melrose Drive on February 14.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 11:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, the 23-year-old man was riding a motorcycle on North Melrose prior to the crash. At the same time, a box truck made a U-turn directly into his path. Consequently, the two-wheeler crashed into the truck.
 
As a result, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said the victim suffered grave injuries in the incident. Paramedics took him to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido in critical condition.
 
Police said alcohol did not appear as a factor in the collision. At this point, an investigation is still ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
