Rollover Accident on 15 Freeway in Corona Hurts Two

 
CORONA, CA (September 30, 2021) – A man and a child sustained injuries in a rollover accident on 15 Freeway in Corona Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened around 9:40 a.m. on September 29, in the northbound lanes of the freeway near Indian Truck Trail. According to the CHP, a Jeep and a Chevrolet Silverado collided in the fast lane. The impact caused the Chevrolet pickup to overturn.
 
Good Samaritans extricated two adults and two children in the pickup before paramedics arrived.
 
Riverside County and Corona Fire Department crews responded and found one of the minors and a man with injuries from the crash.
 
The man declined medical attention, but the child was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the occupants in the Jeep did not sustain any injuries.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
