Pedestrian Sustains Major Injuries after Hit by vehicle on Concord Avenue

 
CONCORD, CA (January 17, 2022) – A man was badly injured in a pedestrian accident on Concord Avenue on Friday night.
 
The accident happened around 6:18 p.m. on January 14. According to the Concord Police Department, the 64-year-old male pedestrian was walking in the area of 1581 Concord Avenue when a vehicle traveling west on Concord Avenue hit him.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and transported the man to a hospital with major injuries.
 
It is unknown if the driver of the vehicle has stayed after the crash.
