Man Lying on Aragon Drive in Redwood Village Hit by Vehicle, Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries

 
REDWOOD VILLAGE, CA (November 26, 2022) – A 55-year-old man was badly injured in a pedestrian accident on Aragon Drive in Redwood Village early Friday morning.
 
Just after 4:15 a.m. on November 18, the victim was lying in the 4200 block of Aragon Drive, just south of University Avenue when a Toyota Tacoma struck him.
 
The impact caused the victim life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews took him to a hospital for treatment.
 
The driver stayed on scene. They were unharmed.
 
Neither alcohol nor drugs played a factor in the crash. It was unclear what the victim was doing on the road.
 
The San Diego Police Department is handling the investigation.
