Three-Vehicle Accident at 8th Street and Bonnie Brae Street Sends 3 People to Hospital

 
WESTLAKE, CA (March 21, 2022) – Police arrested a man who led police on a pursuit that ended in a three-vehicle accident at 8th Street and Bonnie Brae Street in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles.
 
Around 1:35 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call near Lucille Avenue in Silver Lake.
 
The suspect, who police said might have been armed, drove away as police approached and led the officers on a pursuit.
 
After an approximately 30-minute chase, the suspect eventually drove east again and collided with two other vehicles. It then overturned and landed on its side.
 
As a result of the crash, the suspect and two other people suffered unspecified injuries and were taken to hospitals.
 
Police later arrested the suspect and took him into custody.
 
Further investigation is underway.
