Homeless Pedestrian Sustains Injuries after Hit by Vehicle on Bear Valley Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 27, 2022) – A man was airlifted in a pedestrian accident at Bear Valley Road and Hesperia Road in Victorville on Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened just before 9:00 a.m. on September 21. According to the Victorville Sheriff’s Department, the adult male was crossing the roadway when a vehicle that was unable to stop hit him.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries. First responders airlifted him to a hospital for treatment.
 
The victim is a homeless man that lives on the side of Bank of America, authorities said.
 
The driver of the car stayed on scene and cooperated with the investigation. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor at this time.
