Fatal Rollover Accident in San Marcos, Officials Identify Majoddi Mack

 
SAN MARCOS, CA (April 20, 2021) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a rollover accident on Highway 78 on April 13.
 
51-year-old Vista resident Majoddi Mack lost control of his Dodge Charger while headed westbound near Woodland Parkway around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
 
The sedan veered to the right and struck a van stopped at an onramp traffic signal. After that, it crashed off the freeway and struck two trees, a chain-link fence and four unoccupied vehicles in a parking lot on Rancheros Drive before coming to rest on its roof.
 
Several witnesses rolled Mack’s car back onto its wheels and pulled him out of the car. Paramedics tried to revive him before pronouncing Mack dead at the scene.
