Citrus College Football Player Luke Pruitt Dies after Crashing His Motorcycle with SUV in Glendora

 
GLENDORA, CA (October 10, 2022) – Luke Pruitt was killed in a motorcycle accident in Glendora on Tuesday morning, October 4.
 
The accident happened around 11:22 a.m. at Mauna Loa Avenue and Grand Avenue. According to the Glendora Police Department, the 19-year-old victim from Claremont was riding his motorcycle along Grand Avenue. At the same time, the driver of the SUV was making a U-turn on Grand Avenue.
 
The motorcycle and the SUV collided at the intersection, causing fatal injuries on Pruitt. He died at the scene.
 
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
 
Pruitt had been playing football at Citrus College at the time of his death. He played his high school football at Claremont High School.
 
At this time, police have not yet determined who was at fault in the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
