Llinas Gozalo Involved in Fatal Los Angeles County Accident on 240th Street East

 
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (October 25, 2021) – Police identified Llinas Gozalo as the victim who survived a fatal wrong-way crash on 240th Street East on Friday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Avenue M around 9:45 PM.
 
Based on an initial report, a 2009 Honda Civic was traveling southbound in the wrong lane on 240th Street prior to the crash. At the same time, a Ford F-350 truck was heading northbound in the correct lane. The truck swerved into the next lane to avoid the Honda. However, the Honda also swerved into the correct southbound lane, directly in front of the approaching truck.
 
As a result, the driver and a female passenger in the Honda died in the collision. In addition, Llinas Gozalo, the driver of the truck, sustained minor injuries. Emergency crews transported him to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
