Lizbeth Romero-Resendez Detained in Deadly Hit-and-Run on Floral Avenue near A Street

 
SELMA, CA (April 2, 2021) — Lizbeth Romero-Resendez was arrested in a fatal hit-and-run accident on Floral Avenue near A Street Tuesday morning.
 
According to the Selma Police Department, a Honda and a Chevy Tahoe collided before 1:00 a.m. Shortly after, officers responded and found the unoccupied Chevy Tahoe, but the Honda was nowhere on site.
 
Moments later, police found the vehicle stopped several blocks away with front-end damage. Also, they found an injured unconscious man in the back seat who died moments later.
 
Not long after, police spotted two women hiding behind a home. Per reports, police arrested one of them — the 26-year-old driver, Romero-Resendez.
