Driver Dies after Crashing into Tree on Freeport Boulevard in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 30, 2021) – A woman was killed in a car accident last Sunday in Sacramento, authorities said.
The accident happened around 8:10 a.m., March 21 on Freeport Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving her vehicle when she crashed into a tree for unknown reasons.
Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures on the woman, but she died at the scene. It is unknown if there are other injuries sustained in the crash.
The Sacramento coroner later identified the victim as 41-year-old Liu Talafaiva of Sacramento.
CHP officials are still investigating the accident to determine the cause and factors involved.
