Linh Thuy Nguyen Dies in Fiery Crash on 15 Freeway at Halloran Summit Road in Nipton

 
NIPTON, CA (January 9, 2022) – Police identified Linh Thuy Nguyen as the victim who died in a fiery rollover crash on northbound 15 Freeway on December 25.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Halloran Summit Road around 11:50 PM.
 
Based on a report, a 42-year-old man from San Diego was driving a 2000 Lexus ES300 at an unknown speed prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle veered to the right shoulder. Then, it entered the open desert terrain where it overturned. Subsequently, it caught fire and became fully engulfed.
 
As a result, Linh Thuy Nguyen, a passenger of the car, died in the incident. A passing motorist found her on the ground adjacent to the vehicle. The witness also helped remove the male driver from the burning car.
 
At this point, this collision is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
