Linda Burtenshaw Dies in Desert Hot Springs Crash on Dillon Road

 
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (April 1, 2021) – Police identified 78-year-old Linda Burtenshaw as the victim who died in a multi-car crash on Dillon Road on March 30.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just east of Lamel Drive around 8:17 PM.
 
Based on a report, three vehicles collided in the lanes. However, the CalFire/Riverside County Fire Department did not release the details that led to the incident.
 
As a result, responders pronounced Linda Burtenshaw of Coachella dead at the scene. There was no word on other injuries sustained in the pile-up.
 
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. As of now, no other details are available.
