Leonidas Accip Dies, Brother Wilder Accip Hurt in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash in Koreatown

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 29, 2022) Leonidas Accip Serech died in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Olympic Boulevard at Mariposa Avenue on Tuesday.
 
According to reports, the hit-and-run fatal crash happened around 3:00 a.m. in Koreatown. Leonidas Accip and his brother Wilder Accip were on their way to Paris Baguette Bakery where the pair works.
 
However, on their way, a driver of a white Jeep Cherokee pulled out from a parking spot and struck the brothers. Immediately after, the driver left the scene without rendering aid.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, 38-year-old Leonidas suffered severe injuries and died shortly after despite his brother’s attempt to save him.
 
A GoFundMe account has been set up to raise funds for funeral expenses.
 
Now, officers need the public’s help in identifying the driver of this vehicle who might have been trying to escape during a car theft at the time.
