John Angulo Involved in Hit-and-Run That Killed Lawrence Harris on Knott Avenue in Anaheim

 
ANAHEIM, CA (September 7, 2021) – Police arrested John Angulo following a hit-and-run crash that killed Lawrence Harris on August 29.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Knott Avenue at the intersection of Orange Avenue.
 
Based on reports, Angulo was traveling on Knott when he ran a red light at the intersection. Then, his car slammed into Harris’ vehicle. Subsequently, Angulo fled the scene on foot.
 
As a result, 37-year-old Lawrence Harris of Buena Park died in the incident.
 
Then, Anaheim police said officers caught 30-year-old John Angulo hours later sleeping in another vehicle near the crash scene. At this time, he is facing charges for gross vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run with permanent and serious injury, with a sentencing enhancement for allegedly fleeing the scene of vehicular manslaughter.
