Laura Eiddert Arrested after Wrong-Way DUI Crash on Highway 273 near Girvan Road

 
REDDING, CA (September 20, 2021) – Authorities arrested 37-year-old Laura Eiddert following a DUI crash on Highway 273, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the Redding Police Department, the incident happened on September 14, at about 8:02 p.m. A northbound 2015 Kia Sorrento left Win-River Resort & Casino and began driving in the southbound lanes.
 
The wrong-way vehicle collided with multiple vehicles, including a Ford F-250, near Girvan Road.
 
Emergency responders determined that the Kia driver, identified as Eiddert, was heavily intoxicated. Officers later arrested Eiddert for DUI and multiple hit-and-run collisions.
 
Redding police continue to investigate the crash. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
