APPLE VALLEY, CA (June 27, 2021) – Officials closed several lanes following a multi-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway on June 23.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Dale Evans and Wild Wash Road shortly before 4:00 PM.
 
Based on reports, one vehicle was pulled over on the right-hand shoulder when it was struck by a vehicle that went off the roadway. Subsequently, one of the vehicles overturned in the incident. No report about the total number of vehicles was immediately available.
 
As a result, paramedics reported injuries sustained by involved motorists. They requested a total of 5 helicopters and 5 ground ambulances to the scene.
