Lanes Closed, Car Accident on 5 Freeway in Tehama County

 
TEHAMA COUNTY, CA (April 27, 2023) — Authorities closed several lanes following a car crash on the 5 Freeway near Jellys Ferry Road.
 
According to CAL FIRE Tehama-Glenn Unit, the car accident happened Tuesday. For unknown reasons, a vehicle crashed and caused a multi-lane closure near Adobe Road and Jellys Ferry Road.
 
Authorities encouraged drivers to use caution while driving in the area. Authorities did not say what led to the accident or how many vehicles were involved, but we will update this report once we receive more information.
 
Regarding injuries, reports did not say if anyone reported any injuries, as well.
