Traffic Delayed after Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 108 near Main Street in Jamestown

 
JAMESTOWN, CA (May 24, 2022) – Lanes were blocked following a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 108, late Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on May 22 at about 11:00 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, several vehicles collided between Main Street and 5th Avenue.
 
As per reports, a semi-truck was involved in the collision. The impact of the crash caused the semi-truck to leak fluid onto the highway.
 
Responders closed the highway to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.
 
It is unknown whether the people involved in the accident were hurt.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
