SANTA MARIA, CA (April 20, 2022) — A 2-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 101 near Stowell Road temporarily blocked all highway lanes on Tuesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 2-vehicle rollover crash happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a black SUV crashed into a semi-truck on the right-hand shoulder. Due to the impact, the SUV overturned and landed on its wheels in the fast lane.
 
Soon after, authorities responded and blocked all lanes of the highway to investigate the details.
 
At this time, authorities released no confirmation on the leading cause. However, any witnesses with information should call the CHP.
