34-Year-Woman Dies in Grass Valley Crash Involving 3 Vehicles

 
GRASS VALLEY, CA (September 20, 2021) – Kimberly Lumpkins died in a three-vehicle accident in Grass Valley late Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:00 p.m. on September 17 on Brunswick Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a sedan, minivan and red Honda collided for unknown reasons.
 
Lumpkins, a 34-year-old Grass Valley resident, was an occupant in one of the vehicles. She suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene.
 
Crews shut down Brunswick Road in both directions while they cleared the wreckage.
 
The Grass Valley Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
