Kieran McCall Crashes Big Rig into Multiple Vehicles on Ramona Expressway in Lakeview

 
LAKEVIEW, CA (February 11, 2021) – Police questioned Kieran McCall after a fatal accident on Ramona Expressway on February 8.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Lakeview Avenue shortly after 4:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, 29-year-old Kieran McCall of Beaumont was heading east on the road when the traffic ahead stopped. Due to unknown reasons, he was unable to stop and his big rig collided with the rear of a Ford Focus. Subsequently, the Focus crashed with a Honda Civic and a Dodge Ram pickup.
 
Then, the tractor-trailer plowed into a Ford Ranger pickup, which then pushed against a flatbed trailer being towed by another pickup. The truck continued and struck the left rear of a Toyota Tacoma and a GMC C-10 pickup. The GMC then collided with a Honda CRV.
 
As a result, a passenger in the sedan died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s name pending kin notification. In addition, crews sent six other people to hospitals in Moreno Valley, Palm Springs and Wildomar. Their injuries ranged from minor to major.
 
Officers questioned McCall but they did not arrest him. However, the investigation into this accident on Ramona Expressway is ongoing.
