Police Arrest Nate Arrington after Fatally Striking Motorcycle Thief Kair Saephan
FRESNO, CA (February 26, 2022) – Kair Saephan died after being struck by the owner of the motorcycle he had stolen earlier this month in Fresno.
The fatal crash happened around 9:00 a.m. on February 7 in the area of Fresno Street and Shields Avenue. According to the Fresno Police Department, the 44-year-old victim stole the motorcycle, owned by 26-year-old Nate Arrington.
Arrington chased after Seaphan and intentionally rammed him while traveling at high speeds.
As a result of the crash, Saephan suffered severe injuries. Responding paramedics rushed him to am area hospital, where he later died.
Arrington remained at the scene. Police later arrested him for vehicular manslaughter.
This fatality remains under investigation. Fresno police asked anyone with further information to call them at 559-621-7000.
