Kair Saephan Killed in Fresno Motorcycle Accident on Blackstone Avenue

FRESNO, CA (February 10, 2022) — A man died in a motorcycle crash on Blackstone Avenue at Griffith Way on Monday morning.

Police identified the victim as 44-year-old Kair Saephan of Fresno.

According to Fresno police officers, officers began receiving calls about a black car chasing a motorcycle, driven by Saephan, around 9:00 a.m. on February 7. Multiple witnesses reported that the driver of the car may have also pulled out a firearm. However, officers did not find any weapons at the scene..

Shortly after, police arrived at the scene and learned that the previously reported black car had collided with the motorcyclist before erupting in flames.

Shortly after, paramedics responded to the scene and brought Saephan to a hospital with significant injuries. However, despite having received life-saving efforts, he died.

The driver of the black car remained on scene with a passenger but was later detained, according to police.

However, an ongoing homicide investigation into this crash should confirm more details. Investigators are now working to figure out if the crash was a possible road rage incident or if the drivers knew each other.
