MERCED, CA (March 15, 2021) – Officials confirmed that a juvenile died in a pedestrian accident on P Street on March 13.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at 24th Street before 4:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was trying to cross the tracks with friends at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the young person was struck by a train.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials did not yet release any information about the deceased.
