LA QUINTA, CA (May 7, 2021) – Paramedics airlifted a juvenile to the hospital following a pedestrian accident in the 79100 block of Blackhawk Way on May 4.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 9:09 PM. It occurred near La Quinta Park and La Quinta High School.
 
Based on a report, the juvenile was walking on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim.
 
As a result, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department confirmed that the juvenile sustained injuries in the incident. Emergency crews airlifted the victim to a local hospital in unknown condition.
