Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Alamo Street and Main Street
RIVERSIDE, CA (January 21, 2021) – 20-year-old Justin Gatewood of Riverside died in a motorcycle accident Thursday night.
The accident happened just after 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Alamo Street and Main Street. According to police, Gatewood was riding his off-road motorcycle when he slammed into the side of a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek SUV.
Paramedics responded to the scene and attempted life-saving measures, but Gatewood died a short time later.
Meanwhile, the Subaru driver, a 24-year-old Riverside resident, did not sustain any injuries.
Neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to be factors in the collision, police said.
