Julian Barrajas Hurt, Devin Woodard Detained in Motorcycle Crash on South Avenue near Woodson Avenue

 
CORNING, CA (April 14, 2022) — Julian Barrajas was injured in a motorcycle accident on South Avenue near Woodson Avenue last Saturday.
 
According to reports, Red Bluff police officers attempted to pull over a driver in a stolen GMC Terrain. As officers tried to make a traffic stop, the driver made other plans and led them on a chase.
 
The 37-year-old driver of the stolen car, later identified as Devin Woodard, led police on a high-speed pursuit to the city of Corning. As Woodard traveled down South Avenue, the stolen GMC Terrain collided with a motorcyclist.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and found 19-year-old Barrajas ejected from his motorbike. Subsequently, they rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment of internal injuries and multiple broken bones. Meanwhile, officers arrested Woodard and booked him into jail.
