Juan Valdivia Arrested for Running Over Massage Worker on El Camino Real near Fernando Avenue

 
PALO ALTO, CA (October 5, 2021) — Juan Valdivia faces charges after running over a woman on El Camino Real near Fernando Avenue on September 24.
 
According to Palo Alto Police, the incident happened around 11:33 a.m. outside a Palo Alto massage spa. At the scene, officers found a woman in her 40s with serious injuries, including broken bones.
 
Per the investigation, a massage employee and Juan Carlos Valdivia had engaged in a dispute over a credit card receipt not displaying the tip amount. Subsequently, the San Jose man took both receipts and walked out.
 
However, circumstances escalated. In light of the struggle, the woman fell onto the ground as Valdivia’s car ran over her with the rear wheels.
