Juan Moreno Dies in Accident with Semi-Truck on Road 80 at Avenue 384

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (November 22, 2021) — Juan Moreno died in a crash with a semi-truck on Road 80 at Avenue 384 Wednesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 10:37 p.m. For unknown reasons, 20-year-old Juan Daniel Moreno was heading northbound on Road 80 and failed to acknowledge the semi-truck that had stopped at the red light in front of him.
 
Subsequently, the Dinuba man’s 2012 Toyota slammed into the rear of the Freightliner.
 
Soon after, officials responded and found Moreno unresponsive and motionless, later pronouncing him dead at the scene.
 
At this time, police have no information as to what led to the crash. However, they plan to look into whether DUI played a role in the accident.
