SANTA MONICA, CA (May 26, 2021) – A woman died in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway late Sunday evening, May 2.
 
According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, 50-year-old Jozelle Hall died at the scene.
 
The accident happened around 10:35 p.m. at the Cloverfield Boulevard on-ramp. According to the Santa Monica Police Department, the victim was stumbling in the area and appeared disoriented. Hall walked down the on-ramp when a vehicle struck her.
 
Crews issued a SigAlert, shutting down the area and on-ramp until around 2:00 a.m.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor. The accident is under investigation.
