Josiah Gonzalez Dead, Robert Escamilla, Michelle Cuiniche Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on Lopez Drive near Grieb Ranch

 
ARROYO GRANDE, CA (September 16, 2021) — Josiah Gonzalez died in a motorcycle crash on Lopez Drive near Grieb Ranch Saturday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 7:55 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, 29-year-old Josiah Moy Gonzalez allowed his 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle to veer over the double yellow lines. Subsequently, his westbound Harley collided with an eastbound 2016 Kia, driven by 23-year-old Robert Escamilla of Bakersfield.
 
As a result of the impact, Gonzales of San Fernando was ejected from his bike and came to a rest on the south shoulder of Lopez Drive.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics brought the right front seat passenger of the Kia — 24-year-old Michelle Cuiniche — to Sierra Vista Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
