Head-On Accident on California Avenue in Kerman, Joseph Rodriguez and Alissa Campos Killed

 
KERMAN, CA (July 26, 2021) – Joseph Rodriguez and Alissa Campos died in a head-on accident in Kerman Saturday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:15 p.m. on July 24, in the area of California Avenue and Howard Avenue. CHP officials Rodriguez of Kerman was speeding in a Chevrolet pickup truck with Campos of Fresno as his passenger.
 
Rodriguez then failed to maintain control of the vehicle and allowed it to veer into the eastbound lane directly into the path of another vehicle. The two vehicles collided head-on.
 
As a result, both Rodriguez and Campos died at the scene. Both were 19 years old.
 
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger of the second vehicle sustained injuries and were treated at the Community Regional Medical Center.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
