Joseph Ambrose Suffers Major Injuries in Highway 20 Motorcycle Crash in Lake County

 
NICE, CA (July 28, 2021) – Joseph Ambrose sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on Highway 20.
 
The accident happened around 3:15 p.m. on July 23, at the intersection with Crump Avenue. CHP officials said the 31-year-old Lucerne man was riding a black and red 2004 Yamaha VXS1100 motorcycle westbound. At the same time, 60-year-old Paul McGrorey from Lucerne was driving a silver 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup eastbound.
 
For unknown reasons, Ambrose collided with the Dodge that had stopped in the double-left turn lane. As a result, he suffered major injuries. An air ambulance took him to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
 
Officers said neither alcohol nor drug usage is suspected.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
