Jose Sanchez Dies in Multi-Vehicle Collision on 91 Freeway near 6th Street

 
CORONA, CA (March 9, 2021) — Jose Sanchez died in a multi-vehicle accident on the 91 Freeway near 6th Street Friday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 8:04 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, multiple cars collided in the eastbound lanes of the freeway.
 
Unfortunately, Jose Avalos Sanchez suffered serious injuries in the accident, among other victims. Shortly after, the 51-year-old Moreno Valley man succumbed to his injuries.
 
As of 10:04 p.m. that night, three traffic lanes remained closed due to investigations. At this time, the ultimate cause and circumstances require further examination. However, if anyone has more information, please contact the CHP.
