Car Crash on 15 Freeway in Ontario Kills Driver Jose Bravo and Passenger Luis Bravo

 
ONTARIO, CA (March 16, 2022) – Jose Elizarraraz Bravo and Luis Elizarraraz Bravo were both killed in car accident in Ontario, early Saturday morning.
 
The accident happened around 3:16 a.m. on March 12 on 15 Freeway at 10 Freeway interchange. CHP officials said 24-year-old Jose was driving his car with his passenger 29-year-old Luis.
 
The vehicle had made a U-turn on the freeway prior to the crash and was travelling north in southbound lanes, according to California Highway Patrol. After that, preliminary investigation suggests the 2018 Tesla was speeding when it collided head-on with the end of a k-rail dividing southbound and northbound lanes.
 
As a result, both Luis and Jose died at the scene. They were Rialto residents, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division. According to a GoFundMe account, Luis and Jose were brothers.
 
It is unclear at this time if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the exact cause of the crash.
