1 Seriously Injured, Jonathan Watts Flees Scene after Car Crash on Hollywood Boulevard

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 8, 2021) – Authorities arrested 23-year-old Jonathan Watts of Texas following a hit-and-run crash on Hollywood Boulevard, Saturday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened at about 9:45 p.m. A white BMW sedan went through an intersection at Hollywood Boulevard and Wilcox Avenue when it struck a black Nissan.
 
Emergency crews transported the Nissan driver to a hospital with severe injuries. Authorities did not release the name and age of the victim.
 
However, the BMW driver, Watts, fled the scene on foot.
 
Authorities subsequently arrested Watts on suspicion of hit-and-run and drunk driving. As per reports, he was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
 
LAPD continues to investigate the crash. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
