Johnny Carr Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Division Street at Avenue J-8

 
LANCASTER, CA (May 11, 2022) — Johnny Carr died in a motorcycle accident on Division Street at Avenue J-8 on Sunday afternoon, May 1.
 
According to Detective Ryan Ament of the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station, the fatal motorcycle collision happened around 4:15 p.m. For unknown reasons, a woman driving a Nissan Sentra southbound on Division Street made a left turn in front of 50-year-old Carr.
 
Subsequently, Carr’s northbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with the woman’s Nissan at the intersection, ejecting him from his bike and onto the road.
 
Shortly after, authorities and paramedics responded. However, but despite efforts to save him, paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Carr’s son, Johnny Carr Jr., started a GoFundMe on behalf of his father. The fundraising account says that Carr was a dad of seven and was minutes away from his home when the accident happened.
