John Hutchinson Arrested after Hit-and-Run on Circulo Sequoia in Carlsbad
CARLSBAD, CA (February 10, 2021) – Police arrested John Hutchinson following a bicycle accident in the 7600 block of Circulo Sequoia on February 7.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 10:38 AM.
Based on a report, officers found a woman unconscious on the ground. They learned that a black Cadillac hit the victim’s bicycle. However, the vehicle left the scene after the crash.
As a result, the bicyclist sustained serious injuries in the incident. Subsequently, crews took her to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
After an extensive search, officers found the Cadillac in the nearby area. In the end, officers arrested 26-year-old John Hutchinson on felony hit-and-run with injuries and driving under the influence. At this point, an investigation is ongoing.
