John Goulart and Paul Pilgrim Hospitalized after O’Neals Semi-Truck Crash

 
O’NEALS, CA (May 13, 2021) — John Goulart was injured in a big rig accident on Highway 41 near Road 200 Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle collision happened around 1:20 p.m. For unknown reasons, 46-year-old Paul Jason Pilgrim made a sudden U-turn in front of a northbound big rig. Subsequently, Pilgrim’s 2003 Nissan 350Z collided with the tractor-trailer, driven by 62-year-old John Joseph Goulart.
 
At some point before the impact, Goulart slammed onto his brakes and turned to the left in an attempt to avoid the crash. However, both vehicles collided, and the tractor-trailer drove off the roadway and overturned down an embankment.
 
Paramedics responded and transported Goulart, of Chowchilla, to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno with major injuries. Meanwhile, emergency personnel transported Pilgrim, of Fresno, to Saint Agnes Medical Center with minor injuries.
